Your Bed Bug Problem Is Our Priority!

Bed bugs are parasites that feed on the blood of people, using these blood meals to grow and reproduce. Although bed bugs prefer human blood, they are also capable of feeding on animals, including dogs, cats, and other pets. Bed bugs are primarily active at night. They live close to areas where people sleep, rest, or sit for long periods. Hungry bugs will move out from their hiding places, in search of exposed skin. Typically, the head and neck are bitten, but bed bugs will also bite bare arms, hands, and legs. When searching for a place to feed, these bugs can move very quickly. Once an appropriate site is found, they feed for 2-5 minutes until full, and then move quickly away from the person and into a hiding place. These hiding places can be mattress seams, furniture, electrical outlets, picture frames or a number of other locations in close proximity to the host.

Our technicians are Master Heat Certified and eliminate bed bugs using heat.

Before the Treatment

  • 1

    Contact

Upon suspecting you have a bed bug infestation, contact us to schedule an inspection. If you have identified the presence of bed bugs yourself, we will recommend scheduling treatment.

  • 2

    Inspect

Our technician will complete a thorough inspection for live bed bugs, dead bed bugs or any evidence of bed bug activity for the location in question.

  • 3

    Schedule Treatment

This service requires a Service Agreement and protocol acknowledgment.

  • 4

    Treatment

People & pets must vacate the location to be treated for approximately 10 hours. Times may vary depending on the size of the location and
    complexity of the work.

During the Treatment

  • We will raise the temperature of the treatment location using
    specialized heaters and fans.
  • Temperatures will be monitored to ensure the target temperatures are reached and maintained.
  • Special fans will be utilized to move air throughout the treatment
areas. Technicians may make periodic adjustments to contents to
    eliminate cold spots.
  • Temperatures will be maintained for specific times to kill all growth stages, but specifically eggs.

After the Treatment

  • You may notice dead bed bugs in the days following the treatment. Vacuum these up and discard them to the trash.
  • Be mindful of the possibility of reintroduction. This can be from
something removed from the location before the treatment and brought back. This can also occur by visiting or being visited by someone who has an active infestation.
  • We recommend an inspection 30 days post-treatment or our
Monitoring Service so that future infestations may be identified at an early stage.

Success Rate

Heat treatments are one of the most effective ways to eliminate bed bugs in a single treatment, with success rates over 95%. However, a secondary treatment may be needed if bed bugs were introduced from an outside source.
